Raw easy sugar free muesli

Often its so tempting to forget breakfast or grab something on the go, yet by doing this it can lead to a cycle of crashing and craving for the rest of the day.

So many commercial cereals are also highly processed, full of added sugar, and often have added refined oils, flavour and color (plus they're expensive!)

Starting the day with a whole food unsweetened muesli rich in plant based protein, nuts and grains feeds the body and mind and sets you up for success

I soak mine overnight in water, then add some home made coconut yoghurt and seasonal fruit

If you practice intermittent fasting then it's sooo simple to pop it in a jar with toppings and eat when you're ready!

Getting it ready the night before also saves time in the morning (cos we're all rushed getting out the door )

To make:

I make once a week or so in a large airtight container (ie with a sealed lid, ideally 5L capacity)

Fill this half full with raw oats (not quick cook oats)

then fill the other half with equal quantities of sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, raw almonds, sesame seeds, dessicated coconut, and ground linseed. You can also add some dried fruit for a bit of sweetness (ie chopped dried apricots or raisins)

Shake well to mix and youre ready to go - takes about 2 minutes, then breakfast is set for the week!
